Re: [S|S France and S|S Norway] Private collections and collectiables.

How did you get the signage and the elevator sign?? Incredible.
sigpicI will never forget the lovely grand SS NORWAY.
    Past Cruises on her: August 22, 1992. June 4, 1994, April 7, 2002.
Nearly had our fourth cruise, it was set for November 7, 2003...
the boiler room disaster of May 4, 2003 took her out of service.
We ended up on the NORWEGIAN WIND, not the same as the SS NORWAY

      Yes, that is correct.

Does anyone have a picture where the deck-directory from Norway deck is visible? I would love to see a photo, where it is shown hanging on board.

An old article from Norwegian weekly magazine "Vi Menn" from the SS Norway:

I truly wonder where and with whom these statues from Club International will end up - I certainly wish NCL would place them on one of their future ships in memory of the big blue, but I highly doubt they will buy them back again.

I have this plaque with me in Norway, but I would like to ask for your opinion on a tiny matter.

The plaque was located on the Norway's bridge wing, and the wooden frame is original....

My question is: should I varnish the frame (restore it) or should I leave it faded as it is now?
