    Bergen Line

I know that RV Star was owned at one point by Bergen Line. On one of my visits to Bergen I saw the RV Star model in the Bergen Maritime Museum and outside one of the office buildings along the quayside I took a photo of what I think is a Bergen Line figurehead. Does anyone know of the origins of this figurehead and why is it outside this set of offices considering that Bergen Line is no longer in existence?

Sadly, I'm not able to see those images. It appears as if they are linked directly from your computer, and that wouldn't work.

Apologies! Here is the figurehead. Hope it works this time!

I would guess it is still there because it is too beautiful to be taken down: to the honor of Bergen Line.
