                  The final page, page 8....

As far as the information goes, this was the last issue of the Royal Viking Chronicle. RVL had been taken over by NCL (Kloster Cruises) and things had started to change. Warren Titus was still present at RVL, but only as a consultant and not with the same authority as he had held before.

The original concept of Royal Viking Line had started to falter....

With best regards from Jan-Olav Storli

Having worked for/with Joe at Oceania, this issue was a very interesting read!

Joe is still the same guy today he was 25 years ago. Class act all the way.

                    Regards,

                    Tim

I too love reading old newsletters such as these. In many instances, I often come across names of persons I have either sailed with, heard of or spoken with.

Sometimes I think that those of us that sailed in the early 90's on the NCL-ships, were a special kind of family (maybe dysfunctional at times, but still a family..).

HA HA!! We think the same thing about ourselves at Oceania. Very much a family, with all the good, bad and dys-FUN-ctionality that goes with it!

I think you would agree with me sir, that without the dysfunctionality, the fun would just not be there... It's a part of being in family, being able to stand up for our things, and thereafter, still love each other as only a family could.
