A "WOW" picture. Look at the heat coming out of the funnel. This picture is almost moving! Very well done, Bengt!

Who could have known 10 or 20 year ago, that Lofoten would be the last classical in the route?

I should have made bets regarding your answer / question 10 - 15 years back and I would be a rich man today.

Ditto.... actually, 20 or 25 years ago, I would have placed my money on Nordnorge, Kong Olav or Harald Jarl as the final ship, but as we now know, it were to be Lofoten.

Lofoten left Bergen for a short roundtrip

and arrived at the Hurtigruten terminal later.

Clearly I would do a short visit on board, but one moment I was not sure - walking, swimming or giving up...

Why just take the waiting taxi?

I have booked to travel on MS Lofoten in February 2014, now as MS Nordstjernen is gone :-(. Does anyone have an update on the wifi provision? Thanks, Graeme

Don't know about the wifi (I think there was none when I last travelled on Lofoten in February 2011, but you're travelling three years later...); anyway I think that Hurtigruten in February can be very fascinating! Are you travelling the whole route Bergen-Kirkenes (or even Bergen-Kirkenes-Bergen)? In 2011, I was very lucky... clear, cold, calm weather for the whole trip, and there is nothing more beautiful than snowy Raftsundet on a clear winter night under moon, stars, and northern light In 2006, the weather wasn't that good but a bit of rocking on the good old ship can also be fun
