    Thank you so much!
And thank you also for this link which I didn't know and is really really great! It's not easy finding pictures of Lofoten's cabins online.

You're welcome. This site, as well as www.hurtigforum.de, is the home of some of our members, for example Keelson and ArcticGateway, just to mention two of them. Seagull also met some of them at the farewell tour of Nordstjernen.

                    Thanks folks...!

At that time I was just out from a rather thorough eye-check at the specialist in the same building as the Harbour authority at the hurtigruten quay...., and my eyes were running in water/tears so that I had difficulty seeing anything.
The doctor had used drops so that my pupils could be compared to f/1.1 (Unable to contract of course)

Anyway, this was my second picture after I had my Pentax de-dusted, and in fact I'm rather happy with it myself, the image.
Had to decide in a hurry where to stand though, as I had two alternatives......, 300 meters apart.

As a photographer I don't know if I'm particularly happy with razor sharp sunlight, but it sure is very nice to have some light back in the afternoon.

So good to see you have your camera back in action. And what better than to take Lofoten heading south to meet our Sarnia in Bergen today!
That little touch of sun on the top of the mountain completes this lovely golden moment image.

Yes, but that sunlight is at the very right position in your picture. In pictures of that kind (low sunlight at a ships hull) there are often very bright reflections spoiling all details, but giving a great effect. I like you image very much because it gives both. The composition could be a bit better, but considering you adventure at the eye specialist it's very understandable. Nice shot!

Yesterday Lofoten was visiting Ålesund and i was onboard to take some pictures of her. This particular day it was a arrangement going on in the city about maritime education, so there was a lot of ships around the city that was open for visitors.Lofoten had stands with people from the maritime school, informing about different ways to get your maritime education.
A lot of people was onboard, i sat down in the cafeteria with a cup of hot chocolate before i wandered around taking som pictures.
