              Bye bye Harstad!
I usually stay around on deck until the ship passes Trondenes church and then go for breakfast. Perhaps Yves will be doing the same! This all feels so realistic that I almost expect to find a breakfast buffet all ready for me here in Edinburgh!

…but no….I’ll just have to make it myself, before catching a virtual flight to Abu Dhabi for the Formula 1 Grand Prix!!!!

Seems that way! For the last two Novembers I’ve managed to get to Norway at some point, so this year I’m really getting withdrawal symptoms (even though it’s not exactly that long since my last NX trip!).
I was tempted to take a real day or two aboard Lofoten, but a rather complicated obligation is keeping me here in Edinburgh just now.

I hope Ives is having a wonderful time on Lofoten, and taking lots of photos for our future enjoyment!

I've never done that virtually except during the Minute by Minute broadcast - But when I'm on board, I like the mornings you arrive at a place so early you first get off and then head to breakfast after the ship has departed.. (It is always nice to be up on deck before breakfast for a little while anyway!)

Lucky Yves who is there now!

Thank you for taking us on a virtual tour Seagull! Keep up the good work

…well, might have to just imagine Tromsø later today, as the Fjellheisen webcan isn’t working.

Then there's just one thing to do - send Asimut a message...

By the way, it's not just the webcam that isn't working, the Fjellheisen itself won't be working at least for the rest of this year. One of the cables is damaged!

So I took my own camera and walked to the pier:

The weather was almost as sunny as on Seagulls last visit at Tromsø , so Yves and I took a long walk through the rainy city.

Enyoy the rest of your trip, Yves!

So absolutely thrilled to see photos of Lofoten in Tromsø! Never mind the rain – I am delighted you two managed to meet up.

But Cortes' work was always cityscapes, not maritime. He painted many, here's one.
