Thank you for that input Sterkoder. You are so right. I just forgot about that, because the owners cabin is offered on so much ships as "premium suite".

Yes, and that is another discussion. Me to thought about that; to offer the owners cabin aboard "Lofoten" as something exclusive.
I wouldn't have booked it myself though, because I see before me much noice from loading/unloading, work on deck and last but not least, the noice from casting anchor and hoisting it back on board.
I know the cabin was the old post office, but is somethin "exclusive" as an owners cabin something one should have in that area of the ship...?
I don't know, I'm just curious as to what others mean. (Or rather think, because we can't do anything about it).

I have my doubts if it is really possible to have a calm cabin on that small ship. Noise of loadings and the anchor in the front area and the noise of the machine in the rear cabins. In between these there are not many cabins...

But you brought me to the idea, that at least one cabin could be reservated for special guests of Hurtigruten, such as the foreman of the national monument comitee, the Norwegian king, Mick Jagger or Jan-Olav Storli.

We appear suddenly to have two Seagulls. Is anyone else confused? Maybe it's my age.

Thats right...two seagulls, The Seagull and Seagull. i didn't know that CV had a Seagull, but if it gets too confusing, perhaps Jan Olav could help me out?

                              Hi Kristian.

How about some other bird, "Osprey" or "Sea Eagle" or their Norwegian names? I'm sure Jan Olav will be only pleased to advise of something that's not quite so close to another active CV member's name.

Personally, I am waiting for a nice young maiden to join, who wants to be "Clipperette" but that's just a fantasy ....
