I must just jump in and say thank you to Doris for all of these wonderful images from 'Lofoten'. Brilliant photos of this wonderful old veteran ship. Strange looking bunch of characters you met on your journey though!
Joking aside, it looks like it was a wonderful voyage, thank you again for posting such wonderful images.

Yes, thank you Doris for posting your photos. I wish I had your eye for a good shot. You must tell us what camera you use.

Would it be possible to add captions please? I so want to know who's who.

Yeapp... Big S, as in the person who rocked a whole city, the person who also managed to get the city cannons fired up and the guy who managed to welcome the S. sailship to town in unparalleled welcome!

No more the shy, now the great S!

Great image by the way... looks so cosy there in the cafeteria!

Thank you all for showing us, how familiar such a travel can be while having dear friends along the coast.

And thank you Doris for these wonderful detail pictures which can be although easily and just in time identified as parts of "MS Lofoten". Like HJ explained, most of us would never imagine to find such wonderful motives out of "normal" parts of the ship.

And Harald Jarl, nice to identify you, surprise, surprise, but also the real MS Harald Jarl is a "she".

Sterkoder, your presence aboard a new ship would show it less big, than they seem to me. It is just a question of having the right scale. In this case one could believe, Lofoten was designed for Japanese people...

The cabin with the blue beds is in my opinion one of the category "D" cabins without shower/WC. I suppose Deck C or number 228-234 on Deck B. But Doris surely can give you the correct answer.

                Hello Sterkoder,

you find these ordinary cabins on deck A category D without wc

After Sterkoder is coming out with his photo, you can safely guess who the others are I've met (the pictures are listed in the same sequence as the names)

                    Greetings Doris

...the diction in the German catalogue and website is different from the Norwegian one. The lowest deck is called "C" and is not shown in the Norwegian version.

Nice that you all liked the pictures, at the end here now a few "obligatory" photos of the god old lady Lofoten in different ports.

                          Best regards Doris
