  • So wonderful to see your images, Harald Jarl. So nice you managed to travel with Doris i short part.

I can imagine you two enthusiasts jumping up and down all over the beautiful ship.

Glad to help you out linking these great images.

PS: I even recognized a familiar face on the image of "Østenfjelske HR-venner.............

    • THANK YOU - THANK YOU - ever so much, HurtigruteMartin!!!!!

I struggled like crazy to get my pics in this thread before hyperactive Jan-Olav & Svein entered theirs.
But, as it turns out, both of them may be temporarily "incapacitated" and thus no hurry for me...

It's sooo wonderful to find you can rely on good friends! Most often experienced in North-Norway.

Will see you next time I'm in Bodø...

'Hyperactive' is not the first word my fiance would choose to describe me, nor other people knowing me neither

But I have no problems with other people seeing me as such when I tell you, in certain threads from time to time, how I drive around to get my pictures

Nice report, 'HJ'...!! (Thanks 'HurtigruteMartin' for your relay)

        • Something's amiss, at t+3 hours, HJ's pictures (as posted by HM) are missing. I am seeing the message "This image or video has been moved or deleted".

          Hopefully just a temporary glitch.

I noticed as well, that all images in my post for "Harald Jarl" suddenly disappeared. I think the foult was on my computer/my PhotoBucket-album.

Must be the Northern Light setting me out.

Tried all night to repair my tecnichal catastrophy

And I think I have succeeded

              Sorry

              • Brilliant teamwork! – Big thank you to our “CV news reporters” Harald Jarl and HurtigruteMartin who have made such efforts to report on Doris’s voyage as it actually happens! Great photos!

Well, after all that excitement, the best I can do is to show you the webcams from Trondheim this morning…

                  • Nice photos HJ. It was worth the wait. I so wish I could afford (time and money) to get ombord an HR again.

Well done HM, you are a genuine hero - working al night. I think there was something up with Photobucket. It was running very slowly, so more likely Photobucket than your computer.

At the time of these two webshots... me and Doris was sitting in the forward observation lounge chatting away! We were both successfully stalked!

Doris came to Trondheim this morning:

And I was so happy to meet this wonderful person!

With best regards from Jan-Olav Storli

                          • And "Lofoten" made her way south and docked in Kristiansund 5-10 minutes late, so I only met Doris for some 30 minutes.
But that was enough time for a good cup of coffee (thank you so much, Doris!) and a good talk
I also met a lively travelling companion to Doris, but unfortunately I completely forgot to ask about her.
(Pictures of me and Doris are inside her camera, so let me just post my pictures here).

(Yes, Dosis got treated just like the captain of "Shtandart"..., a book about Kristiansund)

30 minutes pass so fast when one has a great time

                            Fantastic light this afternoon

Doris and husband as "Lofoten" leaves through Sørsundet

                            A beautiful vessel she is

Thank you for the time, Doris! Have a safe trip home!!

One of the best pictures I belive I've ever seen of "Lofoten". Just one more evidence of your professional attitude towards photography!
Great photo of you two also. Similar pictures of me and Doris are all in Doris' camera, so I hope I get one or two on mail when she comes back home...

                              • This live-reports from Doris`voyage is indeed wonderful reading.

Thanks to Doris and her Alfred, it is almost like we all are traveling together in this very moment.
And it has become a very memorable voyage, not only for Doris, but for all of us

Must be interesting for her husband to meet all her "hyperactive" friends
