So true, Elizabeth! Time is flying by so quickly!

At Kristian's age, you see changes almost DAILY!! Although you may not notice it because you're around him all the time....keep posting pictures of that cutie pie!!!! Now that my nephew is 5, I think I will turn over his title of "world's cutest toddler" to Kristian!!

Off duty indeed! umm...don’t you dare disappear off to Rørvik or anywhere. It would be ridiculous to miss meeting up ... especially as I have cunningly maximised my Bodø time to increase the possibility of a slot within your busy schedule!

OK, I’ll be in touch nearer the time with contact details in case you don’t notice I’ve arrived in Bodø.

            Day 2:
The next morning we crossed Stad, and as you can see the sea is very calm

Must be rather lonely living up there

                          Does anybody have an explanation?

Well, I had supposed he would be busy working and was just thinking of those days as a big enough net to catch him . . . (and let’s face it E, being seen around Bodø for three whole days with an old fossil wouldn’t do much for his street cred would it????!!)

And I have plans . . . even if Chief Storli is off duty, I just HAVE to take a trip on Skogøy. I am visualising a round trip or perhaps going out to one of the islands, enjoying myself wandering around in my typical Seagull fashion, and returning on the next sailing.
Here is a convenient web page to start with for all of you who were trying to make sense of the timetables and our dear Captains first proper day at work yesterday:

Meteor, what perfect timing that you posted your wonderful Nordstjernen photos just as I am looking forward to my next trip aboard her (and I have a short time on Lofoten too, so your Trondheim photos were doubly appreciated!).
Needless to say, I just love those views looking over the foredeck and seeing the changes in cargo and things around there port-by-port. But I must also specially mention a couple of views you took from the ship which impressed me – the one of Munkholmen, and the one of Kjeungskjær lighthouse which looks so close up and clear like I never saw it before.

Such events makes me veeery worried...

A deckhand at the bow, normally their job should be finished by the time they pass your place?
Maybe the anchor winch acting up again? Dunno what kind of repairs they made in Harstad.

Well, a year ago we drifted for 20 mins outside Sortland while they tried to discard a cable from the anchor. Not that it may be that this time, just reminded me, as I was at the poop staring down at the propwash that didn't materialize and thus didn't see what was going on at the other end...
