You are soo right about that, Tommy. NX is truly just ONE OF A KIND.

I`m a bit surprised too. But nevertheless happy on behalf of all of us NX-lovers.

At least I have missed your nice "blogs" from the life on this very ship.

Quite normal.... I know Exactly what you mean: I felt the same after having sailed on the SS Norway, and got transferred to the much newer Seaward. Well, it may not be the exactly same, but I do understand your feelings very well.

It`s something special with the old classic ships. It wasn`t the same when i left Lofoten, i dont know why but the "star" (Stjerna) is a very special ship.
I hope to be back there when the summer season starts

NX is now in good shape, and she wil from now on have a yearly docking because of all problems we had last summer.

Oh that winter sea – you can SEE the cold!

Look what has just struck me as I scroll back to look at the photos again – that first one is at the same angle as the drawing in the previous post!

You know I told you it's cold here, too...but NOTHING like what you've got!

And given that it's 34° in BKK....I know where you'd RATHER be...

But still...you got these FANTASTIC images! AMAZING!

                    Stay warm, friend!!

I usually learn something every day from all of you in here, but when it comes to photography...., Jan-Olav is my mentor whether he want or not

                      Great images!

But I can't help wondering though...., looking at the ice "print" of the sea/waves along her hull:
Does she really go that deep at speed or is it some other explanation...?

I’m glad you tell Jan-Olav this Sterkoder, he’ll perhaps believe you more readily than us two ladies who had to start our 365’s to completely convince him just how inspiring he is.
Umm, so are you thinking what I’m thinking E – but perhaps we should let Big S’s knee recover first, and let him get used to that new camera he’s been thinking about getting . . .

Talking about ladies, I was just looking at photos of dear old lady NX to help recollect where waves reached to, but it’s not easy to judge, and in any case she was having to go much slower than usual last July because of the heat!!!! – difficult to think of that now after looking at Jan-Olav’s cold weather masterpieces.
