Ohhh... I miss her, thanks so much for that update from "down under".

I hope and pray the ship is providing the rest and comfort for the workers as per her contract and expectations.

Once again, thank you very kindly for letting us have a peak at her again.
With best regards from Jan-Olav Storli

                  No, please.

We keep it as polite as we possibly can here, and can do very well without any finger pointing.

Full marks for over dramatisation must go to the last report above! Reading that is enough to make you think that there was a raving drunken lunatic at the helm!
Amazing how the first report a few posts back simply stated that a barge had broke loose during rough weather, and had repeatedly hit the Finnmarken, and then the last report making it sound like the Captain - who was not content with trying to steam away from the barge before his lines were released, also felt the need to ram the said barge! I myself think the first report sounds much more likely to be truthful.

Nice to hear that the Norwegians on board are in good spirit, enjoying the weather and wild life. They are in the middle of a Marine and Wild Life Park, although the most noticeable wild life ashore on Barrow Island used to be the sandflies. (The reason for the famous West Australian salute)

In post # 105 in this thread:
Here the official comment on the Norwegian Hurtigruten page. No message in Germany up to now...

That means she wil be back (possibly) early 2013.
                              Regards; Sigve.
