hahahahaha.... that what's I thought as well. We had the blue lights on Korsfjord too, but I didn't see the positive effect in having them, other than everybody has them.

Of course! I knew those blue lights reminded me of something. Zap...crackle...pop!

The mosquito count in the Arctic must be going down these days.

Trollfjord's really got the blue thing going. A friend of mine, a fellow sailor, calls the blue lights on ships "bug-light", meaning the blue light insect traps.

I have not been on any of the current fleet but Trollfjord is the one I really warm to.

Totally agree with Ralf's comment. There is simply no better photographer of this kind of ship image.
As well as in advertising, reports, brochures and such, photographic images seem to be in vogue as 'decor' at the moment in ships, offices, waiting rooms and so on. In a maritime city that surely applies not only where directly shipping company-related, but in hotels and tourism too.

I love Trollfjord too, but you know that already

Oh, wow! This is a piece of art again! This could be a wallpaper and could decorate a wall either on the ship or in HRG's main office!

Awesome night time sail-by image. I would love to having been on board - as a passenger naturally. I sometimes miss the great interest I had in Hurtigruten... it was the old generation ships that fancied my tastes.

I stand in line with everybody else: awesome images that makes me realise how much I loved Hurtigruten during my childhood.

These images clearly embodies some of that fascination for the ships and ports, and for that, I'm thankful that you shared them with me (us).

I would say that it's always easy to get interiour pictures when you spend 4 days on the same boat - but the challenge is to get great exteriours since you're not so much outside your own ship... :-)
    Thanks Kim!

Thank you very much! I try to mix both interior and exterior, I like interior shots a lot and it is a important part of a report.
