Here are my images of Trollfjord sailing PAST Rørvik this morning at 8 AM.

I must it was kind of strange to see her just sail right by, without honking her horn or even stopping...

        Fantastic images, Jan-Olav...!!
This is the result of good co-ordination and logistics...

Wonderful photos of one of my most favourite ships
There was talk recently of a spooky-looking Polarlys where no passengers could be seen, but this is the real thing! (at least until "Sterkodersund" if our suppositions are correct!)

According to my info, she's just passing Smøla as of right now. My signals has been standing still for almost 25 minutes now, but since her timetable say 05:00 PM to leave Kr-sund southbound, I belive they will not stop here this time...

            One other thing:
Going into the webpages of Hurtigruten to try to find her webcam, among other things they say her "sisterships" are Midnatsol and Finnmarken.
Midnatsol I can understand, because that's just what I mean about a "sistership" (that they are alike in design), but what about FM, do they list her as a "sister" to the two others just because she's one of three millenniumships...?
In my head, FM is most certainly no "sister" to TF and MS...

My head too... they are most definitely NOT sister ships. As you mention, a sister ships is similar in design, both exterior and interior wise. I totally agree with you.

The web design has been outsourced, so this is the sort of mistake that happens when people don’t really fully understand what they are dealing with. They should have said “millennium ships” if referring to all three.

Well...., they do that on the spesific FM-page...

                  Outsourced....
It's nothing short of fantastic (NOT!) that the administaration of the main nr. 1 norwegian brand when it comes to tourism can do what they have done with the Hurtigruten.
(I feel so sorry for the crew of all ships, having to meet passengers face to face, when some of those are a bit angry with the admin...).

EDIT: As a service to J-O....; she's at 14,4 knots west of Hamarøy with roughly 225 NM left to Rørvik. (+/- some NM depending on where she sail, inner or outer track towards Bergen).

Yes, it is so great to have daily shots from Rorvik. It is a good feeling to see Hurtigruten alive and working!

Ah, you too – I was looking at these every day while TF was docked as it was an unusual view we don’t normally get.
This was a nice one of the southbound Lofoten and northbound Finnmarken:

I love the photos from Rørvik that you've posted since.
