Shortly after passing Buholmsråsa Lighthouse,,,, the ship started to go a little "rock and roll" out on Folda.

And just south of Rørvik we passed several beautiful lighthoses

        Gjæslingane, Grinna and Nærøysundet Lighthouse

And rfom the Panoramalounge, we see southboud Vesterålen docket at Rørvik

I hope you remember to play the Trollfjord Valsen while your are on board.

Maybe you can play it for other passengers to hear.

Indeed a good idea, Clipper. I will play it for the crew tomorrow

That's great Martin. It's possible they have never heard it before.

I'm off to bed now, it's late.

AIS tells me that your are now some 28 km (great circle) north of Brønnøysund.

I hope the rest of your voyage to Bodø goes well (ie. very rough seas).

Hi Clipper! So you learned Lundefugl is a puffin – yes that is a bird name I actually remember….and the reason is that I read that the island of Lundy in the Bristol Channel (that I visited as a child) is thought to be derived from the Old Norse for Puffin Island!

I've not heard that before but it makes a lot of sense.

And wow, you've actually been to Lundy! It's not the most popular holiday destination. I have certainly never been there though it's a lot closer to where I live.

Before bed-time yesterday evening, a big nice-colored moon rised above the mountains.

And I was taking a hot bubble-bath in the tub on deck. (Of course in TF`s nice blue colours

And had several "tips" with the elevator"

It is a pleasure to share "ownership" with you, Cecilai.

You see. This is "MY" ship too.

And this morning I woke up at Ørnes to a beautiful Weather

                            (Picture taken from my breakfast-table)

I just hava about one hour more to stay onboard. In about 3 hours time, my plane to Kristiansand are leaving Bodø. But I really look forward to my nexr Hurtigruten trip.

I have a "DEAL" with the receptionist onboard Vesterålen. (Actually I made that deal in Rørvik yesterday)

And I also have a certain trip with NN in november in mind.

In the meantime, enjoy a few photos from the Meløy fjord / Reipå
