    Thanks Captain!
I have of course some more 'usual' photos, like this aula shot that 'everyone' takes onboard, but I thought that I should bring some new point of view to this thread.

Some of you have mentioned the connection to the Hurtigruten-tradition.
This fire hose tap onboard Trollfjord is a great example.

The layers of paint shows clearly that this is no longer a brand new ship. In fact, it's more like she's grown up to be a proud lady of the fleet, where she'll hopefully remain for a long time.

Well, eh, if we stick to facts; she's actually not even a teen-ager yet.

Great design, great surroundings. Here moored in Molde.

I can guess at "Ny Båt" ("New Boat") but surely that's too simple.

It's even simpler. I believe the plaque is in English, thus "N.B." stands for "New Building".

…but not “everyone” takes such a good photo as yours Tommi! Thoughtful composition of the lines and curves, accentuated by the limited range of colours too.

I see that Trollfjord will go to Oslo for the annual travel fair in Lillestrøm. Does anyone know when it will arrive in Oslo? If so I'd try to get in position and get some shots as she arrives. Anyway, I'll go take some pictures of her down there...

MS Adventure of the Seas (October 2010)

Since the fair is 13th until 16th of January and she is scheduled 18th departing from Bergen it is obvious, that she will depart Oslo shortly after the fair.
She will leave out the departure 7th of January, which means she has time from 7th to 12th to come to Oslo.
Maybe they will answer your question by mail:

OK, at long last I have managed to make an MP3 version of the Trollfjord Valsen.

Initially I used some software called "MagicMaestro" which allowed me to enter the dots onto a score. After that, thanks are owed to my father who knows a thing or two about converting music between formats. He had to go via Midi and a bunch of stuff I can't fully recall, ending up with an mp3 of reasonable size. We tried several instruments and ended up with Sonar's "Ice Rain", which seems to suit the piece.

After clicking the link, it may play in your browser directly or, depending on settings, you may be invited to download it. Either way, most modern computers will play mp3s. For some reason the uploaded version has a little glitch at the start which I can't explain. The identical version on my computer is OK. Maybe it's just my computer.

                      I hope you like it.

EDIT: The glitch has disappeared. For some reason my computer played it badly immediately after I uploaded but has been OK since.

I got so tired of rain, sleet and snow today i decided to do a rerun of a set from happier times:

                          FANTASTIC

                          Clipper.... THAT was absolute SUPERB..............

Thank you for bringing some music into this forum.

I have played the piece over and over again. Tried to "climp" a little bit on my guitar-sting. And I now long to go home to Kriatiansand to practice and play it on my piano

Try to imagine a video of MS Trollfjord sailing in to Trollfjorden, with this waltz, played on an accordion, as background music
