Nope, I made sure to stay out of the lens... I think that was a man with a jacket from the Norwegian Postal Service: he was also photographing wildly (like me).

I totally agree with all the comments, fantastic images Jan-Olav! Nothing like that frosty mist to give some real atmosphere to the images, stunning to look at.

You’ve captured some amazing together-pictures of these sisters on previous occasions, but this must surely be the Best Panorama E_V_E_R !!!!!

It seems that the reward for the perfect ski-jump and new hill-record, will be a warm landing strait into the hot bubble-tub on deck

I'm placing my bet on this being a "panorama" made from two or three images computer-stitched-together, something which I occasionally attempt. Can't wait to find out!

Thank you all for the very kind comments....

The lens which I used was a Tokina 11-16mm lens. For those of you who are not familiar with Tokina, I have been told that it's a cheaper version of the lenses made by Canon. The lens uses the exactly same glass (and glass element manufacturer) as Canon, and the factory is located right next to the Canon factory in mighty Japan. The lens is however slightly cheaper, have a better aperture range, and is significantly better compared to the even cheaper Sigma lenses.

For some reason, the original image was a bit larger... I think it got a bit shrunk when I uploaded it to photobucket... the length should be 1024 pixels.....

Oh, yes, the image is made up of two images stitched together... by using a Canon program called PhotoStitch.

The norwegian top football-team, ROSENBORG from Trondheim, are considering to use Hurtigruten to their next away-match agains Tromsø mai 2.

According to the schedule, they will spend 2 days onboard Trollfjord, and have a traing at Aspmyra Stadium in Bodø on their way north.

But RBK still hope that the caotic air-conditions will be over, so they can use plane.
