Anyone have an idea when we might see her back in her original route again?

I guess such maintenance is very needed after her rental-period.........

I remember when "Regina Baltica" was rented out to NATO in 2005. After that rental, the ship was a huge mess.

                  But ONE thing for sure:
What would we do without our dear member "talfh" inside the HRG-system. Thanks again Tommy.

Last week I was in Bremerhaven and I stopped for some minutes to take a look at Nordnorge. She is still there - Fischereihafen, Kühlhauskai.

                    Nobody was there - closed!

Thank you so very much... finally, we have proof of her existence. I find it quite a bit sad to see such a wonderful ship being left out of service. She deserves so much better: she deserves to be kept in service and operation.

From time to time there has been rumors that NN will not enter service in Hurtigruten again.
If one can trust the "Which ship from which port"-application on Hurtigrutens webpages, she will enter service with the first round trip departing Bergen April 1 this year.
According to the same application, she will stay in service all through the rest of the year, and also through 2011. I have followed her departures from Bergen until X-mas 2011. That is as far as this application goes.
This means that at the moment, Hurtigruten ASA are counting with Nordnorge in their regular schedule at least one and a half year - if nothing happens. Both NX and LO are in the schedule on full time, when FM is in Australia, which means that Fram in the summer of 2011 probably will repeat her summer programme from the summer of 2010; with sailings in nordic waters, including Baltics, Norway, Great Britain, Spitzbergen and Greenland (See the Fram thread for details).
                            ---
                            Regards Sigve.

NN will have Finnmarkens route, and depature from Bergen 1 April. NL is going back to her ordinary route and will depature 3 april from Bergen.
NN will be in service for 2010 and 2011 i think
