"Nordnorge" will be the platform for Norwegian Broadcasting Corp. and the making of "Hurtigruten - minute by minute".
They will leave Bergen 16th June and film continuously up and down the coast to Kirkenes and back.

        That's fantastic Big S.

I seriously hope it gets broadcast in UK.

If not, then I'll write a stiff letter of complaint to the BBC!

You know, our national broadcasting corp. NRK has three channels. For this project they will use NRK3, and they have cleared the programme schedule to make space for a continuous 134 hours sending...., onehundred and thirtyfour hours!!
Do you belive BBC is that crazy?
Well, I really hope so, because I belive Hurtigruten need this PR out in the world, and in fact I also am sure that there are thousands who really want to see this.

The BBC can be totally crazy but now I know the scale of it, I think we might see a compacted version of this program.

Of course, it may not be the BBC who buys it. Channel 4 (terrestrial) or Discovery Channel (cable/digital) are also possibilities.

"Nordnorge" heading north this evening in cloudy weather and light rain.
But I reckon that when the passengers get to see what the chef has made for supper this evening they all forget about the rain.

A picture of success trip to "Nordnorge" in June.
"Nordnorge" got a nice parting shower from the T/B "BB Worker" after departing from Tromsø that evening.

That looked a bit dull on the TV, but from this angle WOW! That's a lot of water flying around!
