Maybe odd, but NICE!!!! I love seeing the reminders of hurtigruten history around the ships.

But that was 2005, and they’ve probably got flags with that H thingy on by now….

Ummmm, Ralf wouldn’t it be great if there were some old flags found in the back of a cupboard and we could, ehhhhh, beg for a couple!!!!

Hmmm do you think they allow us to search for them???
Finder becomes owner, that's the old rule, isn't it?

Oh well, just to take my mind away from envious thoughts here are some photos of some more of the art from around the ship, and a few other photos from 2005 to finish up with (until November )

                    Finally, a quick look outside.

It was sheltered enough on deck 5 to sit out!

Towards the end of the voyage, after leaving the Falklands and heading to Buenos Aires, Sun Deck 7 became increasingly popular.

A common sight in Norway but rare on this voyage – the open cargo hatch in Buenos Aires.

                          Wonderful memories.
And now I am so much looking forward to stepping onboard Nordnorge once again in November.

Nobody likes to do laundry on vacation....but we'll be gone for 3 weeks, and I think we'll have to do some! Can anyone tell me if the Nordnorge has washers and dryers that guests can use, or do we have to have them do it?

And if there are washers for guests to use, do we need to bring soap, or is soap available? (I know I'd have to pay for the washer use and soap..but it would be nice not to have to pack detergent!)

This page is promising but falls short of providing definitive answers :

                                Laundry
Most ships have laundries with washing machines and tumble dryers except MS Lofoten and MS Nordstjernen. Tokens can be bought from the reception.
                                The page also says :
