    Hurtigruten memorials along the coast

    Dear friends....

Went out for a cup of coffee with a retired HRG employee today... in between errands on a very busy day... and we got to talking about memorials along the coast.

As far as my - and his vague recollection - these are some of them:

    * Sanct Svithun memorial chapel at Ervika, Stadt

    * Sanct Svithun memorial at Nordøyan, Vikna

    * Erling Jarl memorial in Bodø

    * _____ another memorial in Bodø?

    * Dronning Maud memorial in Gratangen

    * Hera memorial in Havøysund

Now, how many more are there.... and where exactly are they located?

Additionally, do we have photos of ALL memorials?
With best regards from Jan-Olav Storli

Next year it is 120 years since Hurtigruten was inaugurated. Will there be any special arrangement to mark that fact?

        Hello,
I thought by now some of our members with a camera would have placed a photo of what must be the best known of all the Hurtigruten memorials * _____ another memorial in Bodø?
It is the memorial to Prinsesse Ragnhild which everyone sees when they come off the ship to stretch their legs at the terminal in Bodø.
        A picture soon?
        Regards
        Nordskott

How could I possibly not rise to such a challenge, Nordskott!!!!
Not quite 100% success though, as I thought I also had one full height of the side with the inscription on the polished stone (… I am VERY into stone ).

I hope you don`t mind, Seagull. But I guess this is the "missing link". Illustrating Nordskott`s description of location, and also the inscription on the stone..

Exactly where is this memorial located... near Kristiansund / Atlantic Road?
