The stuck water tight door, with a very oily deck. I see so many things which could go wrong here. Needs a major cleaning before anything else is started.

It's been a long while - many years - since this moved:

I might need to help the engineering volunteer with some of the signs when we give Kong Olav back her life:

I'm not so sure how accurate this sign actually was:

As I said, when we start up the Kong Olav again, I may need to assist the volunteer with some of the signs:

In the next installation, we will move on to the boat deck and all that is up there.

Looks like part of the bow thruster controls, the propeller symbols rule out power steering controls.

Do you think you could get her running again, Captain???

                            Hello Jan Olav,

a great photo story, I don't know the Kong Olav from her time as Coastel Steamer but it is always sad to have a view like this to an old ship.

                            Greetings Doris

This is the Engine Room emergency control for the Controllable Pitch Propeller (CPP)
Made by now defunct A.M.Liaaen in Alesund. (Main control in the Wheel House), which I hope we will get to see later)

Actually she doesn't need to be fire up to get her back to Norway. That can be done on a Heavy Lift Carrier. But it is not cheap, somewhere between USD 1.5 & 2.0 Mill is my best estimate, unless you can get a ship to take her when re-positioning to North Europe.
There are some Norwegian owned HLC, could there be somebody willing to take her along for free????
