Have the Norwegian media (newspapers etc.) noticed? After all, it's been some time, and she's a special ship...

She seems to be sailing north with AIS switched off since just after Bergen, circa midnight 2013-06-17.

Were will she re-emerge? I'm guessing Trondheim, aka "HOME".

Particularly confusing as Discovery, a ship I also “follow”, passed that very same spot yesterday!
Can’t always expect coverage way inland into the fjords though. Perhaps she’ll pop up on AIS in Ålesund tomorrow, and then yes, Trondheim on Friday! I can promise you a photo eventually, but you’ll get more instant satisfaction on the webcam.

Oooh Seagull, total envy!!! I'd love to be able to afford a trip to see her in home waters. I'll regret for a long time missing the opportunity to see her in Poole. Trouble was uncertainty over exactly where she would be moored. Much of the port area is totally inaccessible and it could easily have been a wasted trip. By the time I found out she moored overnight in about the most observable place possible, it was too late to respond. Grrrrr!

Meanwhile, AIS seems to be coming through reliably again. The hiatus seems to have been very temporary. As I type, she is about to do the lengthy transit in open water north of Maløy.

Presumably this trip north to Tromsø is just a positioning voyage? I can't find evidence of a cruise during this period.

Woah, there's just been some exuberant nostalgia going on in the Norwegian Sea just south of Vestkapp.

Serenissima turned through 180 degrees to parallel southbound Lofoten. The two ships sailed side by side for about 20 minutes before Serenissima broke off and turned north again.

              What a fantastic moment!

Let's hope someone managed to grab a photo. Two other ships were in the immediate area; Cargo vessel "Comabar" and SAR vessel "Halfdan Greig". Seagull, on Saturday maybe you can ask around on Lofoten to see if any of the crew managed to snap her old sister ship.

No it is an actual cruise Clipper but perhaps it is removed from the Noble Caledonia website now it is actually in progress. The cruise started in Aberdeen.

Awww those two together! Just how emotional is that!

Nostalgic momernt indeed. What a wonderful piece of action. I bet there was plenty of waving and saluting going on between the two ships.

Ah right. It would be better if they removed cruises after they were finished, otherwise there's no reference for what's going on right now. I guess they organise the website for sales purposes, not shipspotters.

Yes Wherrygirl, I'm sure we all wish we had been there.

The best hope for a photo of the two ships together will be from the crew of Halfdan Greig. I'm sure the guys on board will have appreciated the significance of the event.

Seagull was right, Serenissima has appeared on two of the Trondheim webcams :

Let's hope Seagull's trip is going according to plan. It all sounds rather complex to me.

                                .....

And by pure chance, I also managed to catch Serenissima's departure :
