Attached photo shows the Andrea at the yard.
Don't know about others, but I don't see an attached photo.

Other than that, this was great news about a classic ship being put to life once again. Thanks, Locarno, for bringing it to us!!

Mörn, meanwhile, is working with charterers and tour operators in lining up bookings for the inaugural summer 2013 season which sees Serenissima operating in the Mediterranean, Black Sea, British Isles and Norway. A similar business model is adopted by the river side of the business with the five-star Volga Dream chartered to Noble Caledonia and Exeter International, amongst others, this year.
Good news, and then there is a chance we will see her here in Norway next year.
Good news, too, about her being fitted with stabilizers. She'll need them.
      Regards; Sigve.

          Hi Locarno,

You need to upload to a 3rd party server, then post the link provided. Many people here use photobucket, which is as good as any. Of course you have to invest a little time registering as is normal with all things internet.

Don't know if this has been posted before but nice photo of Andrea in early stages of conversion. Caption has date 18 maj 2003 but i understand she entered service in April 2003 with a trip to Antigua.

                Hi Locarno,

It's not done to make it complicated, i believe it is done this way to save a lot of money on extra server space. You may of noticed that this forum is completely free from advertisements of any kind (A very nice change to get away from adverts on the internet) And because of this, all running costs for this friendly forum have to be found by the administrator, and by contributions from members. I believe this is the only reason why you have to use a free third party server to upload your images to. I am sure you will agree this is much better than having each page of the forum containing adverts.

Like many others on here i use Photobucket, easy to use and quick to set up, but that is just my personal preference, all photo hosting sites will do just as well.
Your charts, your radar, your eyes and ears - if all 4 agree, you may proceed with caution.

Thanks for that Nordskott. I've not seen this one before.

Interestingly she has the name "Andrea" but the orange stripe was not yet applied, so yes that dates the photo to somewhere during the conversion.

For information, on the index page we learn that the location is Göteborg, Sverige (Gothenburg, Sweden). I'm fairly certain that this is the Göta älv river and the structure in the background is an abutment of the Älvsborg Bridge, opened 1966.

HARALD JARL IS COMING TO LIFE AGAIN!

Under the new name of Serenissima, Our dear old friend Harald Jarl/Andrea is back in the catalogues again.
Noble Caledonia advertizes four cruises next spring, the first one May 11 2013, all cruises around the british coasts and islands, very interesting indeed.
                      Have a look for yourself:

Well spotted! I'd been looking at the Noble Caledonia website last week and hadn't seen her. It is so good to see her sailing again. Doing 3 changeovers in Oban too

                                Awesome!

I can't wait to see images of her popping up again!

It only goes to prove that despite her old age, she still got a lot of life left in her.

Makes me think that also the Kong Olav could have the same opportunity, despite her much longer lay-up.
