She is still looking good in my eyes - a true classic.

Hopefully she'll survive the new SOLAS requirements but I'm not sure at this moment what her status is.

Happy to see her looking good after the trans-atlantic passage and trips to antarctica.

But of course I remembered !!
And I have even worked out some more dates to look out for her. It seems she has still more Antarctic trips.

An encounter of Fram and Andrea in Antarctica! I was aboard Fram – we had left Cuverville Island and were heading south when we past Andrea late in the evening of 26 January 2009. What a delight!

Here is one of my own images of Andrea (former Harlad Jarl) taken at Admiralty Bay, King Georges Island in Antarctica on January 30th 2005:

Sure envy you being able to see her full speed at sea...

Not a question related to the ship, but has anyone any idea of where "our" dear member 'Harald Jarl' is...?

Hey, don't expect any others here to know the answer - because YOU are always the FIRST to be informed of my whereabouts!!!

Actually I was thinking about mailing you and complain about the new flight schedules out of Kristiansund (less time for us to chat).

Going to Bodø next weekend for the annual meeting of the Starfighter-club, and Nordstjernen is southbound Saturday night, sooo...

Guess I'll have to disembark in Trondheim because of the airline ticket price difference. Desperately trying to save enough for the last Nordstjernen half-trip before she heads for Svalbard.

And thanks to all of you for pictures and videoes of my favourite ship!!!
