Edmund Fitzgerald sinking on November 10th

A November 10th, almost 15 days ago, an anniversary occurred, a tragic one.

It was the tragic anniversary of the sinking of "Edmund Fitzgerald", where all her crew perished.

Recently, NG channel featured a full two hour program detailing the reasons behind her sinking, and why she went down so fast.

This should read "36 years". The disaster was in 1975.

Captain, this one sticks in my memory. I was in the first term of my first year at university studying with the radio on in the background. The news filtered in over the course of several hours and it became increasingly certain that all 29 of the crew had perished.
