Awesome - somewhere in a box, perhaps in the basement storage - I have a couple of postcards from the tow of SSUS to Turkey.

Kind of incredible to think that the ship STILL hasn't returned to any kind of use.

                Ahh thats nice
                Search for them.
Who nows what more will come out those boxes.
And i get new smit tug images .LOL

Thinking about that there are so much rich people ( like bill gates)which have so much money to restore the vessel, while they even not miss that amout of money.

I will keep an eye out for these pictures... I think I bought them in the 90's when we came to a Philadelphia port. I think they may have been postcards.... curious myself.

I have been spending a lot of time in the past week to clean out the basement-storage. Hope I didn't accidentally toss them in the trash.... that would have been a bad mistake.

I agree, Thijs, there are enough very rich people in the world right now which could have thrown their wealth at the ship instead, and without them noticing the money leaving their accounts. But, that being said, they never became rich by doing things like that. They love their money, and have no idea how to live an average life.

yes thats so right. and when giving there money to charity, and offcours those that will tell from who it came,
is much more intresting than giving it to a old pile of rust.

never trown something away ,without looking whats be trowend away
