    Re: World's TUGBOATS

Old tug OSKAR owned by a local tug company is returning to base with a smaller boat attached.
As we see on the hill there, it's Opera again in our city, and this year the main opera is Madame Butterfly.

Tug VIVAX assisted the huge drill vessel WEST NAVIGATOR which returned to Vestbase the other day

Nice Action videos from long ago.
The Mr. Louis seen in the last video was one of the first Jack-up rigs built, back in the 1950s.
She had 14 legs and suffered leg breaks on a regular basis.
She is still in existence, I believe. Last used as a Production Platform in West Africa

Three tugs with Kristiansund as homeport with Kristiansund Taubåtservice: WATERCHIEF, WATERBJØRN and WATERMAN.
(Don't know the status of the red WATERCHIEF, as she might be on wet- or dry lease. Eskild would know)

Due to the season they has most likely not been able to paint her fully in the original KTS-colors yet.

Oh, she's partly repainted and back with the KTS logo again. Didn't notice that at first...
