It's surely very dark up in Tromsø!
Hard to do anything about that noise.

Yet another great photo from Bengt!!

To see Normand Jarl with the lights on, she appears earlier on in this thread here (post 682).

And a few new shots of her from Finnmark in 2011, different days, very different weather!

Although I had the better weather, I much prefer Bengt's shot - so moody, so full of atmosphere.

Never noticed this before - who's watching who?

(Forgive the noise, this is that first one very severely cropped and zoomed in Lightroom).

Old tug OSKAR owned by a local tug company is returning to base with a smaller boat attached.
As we see on the hill there, it's Opera again in our city, and this year the main opera is Madame Butterfly.

Tug VIVAX assisted the huge drill vessel WEST NAVIGATOR which returned to Vestbase the other day

Nice Action videos from long ago.
The Mr. Louis seen in the last video was one of the first Jack-up rigs built, back in the 1950s.
She had 14 legs and suffered leg breaks on a regular basis.
She is still in existence, I believe. Last used as a Production Platform in West Africa
