Not to be too silly, but, who would you hire as a Captain?

OK... got you... I'll just go and cry myself to bed then...

Not that you would be able to hire me at my inflated salary requirements anyway....

But more than any other yacht, this may be the true CV Yacht... re-christened to Norway II off course:

            Lurssen's 247' "Northern Star"

A Yacht to Explore the World

            http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/lu...hern-star.html
Actually, the Northern Star mentioned earlier in this thread, is also an Espen Ĝino-design. (Maybe her colours (blue hull!!) would suite our captain better?)

Interesting. I learn something new every day!

Yes, the blue hull color really suits me. I have this 'thing' for blue hulls... not the completely dark blue hulls, but the kind of blue my dear Norway had: aka Norway-blue.

Thank you. Very interesting. Especially the second picture (people alongside) show us the real dimensions of the me***achts - they are not tiny ships!

OK, the big brother are watching us. We are not allowed to write certain words; if we write *** (meG-A-Yachts) we are ending up with *** !! They are concerned about our morale!

Yes, it's even fun in the aviation section when talking about cokpits.

                              In our captains colours

This one - Le Grand Bleu - I found in Copenhagen a couple of years ago.

She is already painted in our captains colours, with a deep blue hull. And she is fully equipped with a sailboat...

                              ...and a speedboat...

                              ...and a helicopter...

...and a diving platform which could take quite a party...

                              Now, wouldn't this be something...?

And look, it's even got a patio on the stern for an afternoon schnapps!

Honestly, this is a great looking vessel. I have seen her a couple of times in the Caribbean and she always made a stunning view. I'll see if I have some additional images of her to share with all of you (you might have seen them before though)...

Does anyone know if she has ever been to the Norwegian fjords?

Seeing that she have been to Copenhagen, she could possible have been to Norway already.

And as you state Sigve, she is already in the purrrrr-fect (perfect) hull color already.
