That is such a fine vessel.... love her clean lines and hull-colours! Crew accommodation on ships of this caliber is likely so much better than those found on ferries.

The accommodation for the crew onboard this fishing vessels is superb.
Seeing pictures from the interior of those ships, you can´t hardly get it better.

Just after seeing your last post earlier today, I went on to google and lost myself in reading about herring.

        Interesting!

Great shot - like the sense of rush and movement. Perhaps eager to come home for Christmas.

Sorry for bad picture quality, but it is very dark and very little light from the ship.

Kind of fun to see this image, despite the lack of light. Eyes trying to make out the ship and its design. Almost like what I do on bridge watch during the night - making out shapes and trying to identify lights.

                    With this young Mate onboard:
Eg likar både fiskaryrket og det å vere styrmann. Difor sjonglerer eg litt, og reiser innimellom også som fiskar. Men denne turen skal eg styre båt, seier Tonje Dyb. Tidlegare i veka drog ho på sjøen att. Med utreise frå Tromsø skal «Loran» til Barentshavet for å fiske torsk og hyse.

Two great images from the North, to the delight for me (those) that has far less shipping locally.

Thank you so very much for sharing!

Through your last two images, I can clearly see it's really cold up there, and that the sun has returned above the horizon again.
