Great, old stories never die. Especially if they are a bit fantastic too.

Yes there are new ships just about every week.
The first of the Haapag Lloyd ships left from Vard Langstein today., a few weeks delayed:

Delayed cruise ship from Langsten finished and headed towards Hamburg

Just before midnight until May 1, the expedition cruise ship "Hanseatic Nature" threw off the quay in Tomrefjord with a course for Hamburg.

The ship was supposed to be delivered a month ago, but delays led to the departure being delayed and the first two cruises were canceled. Now everything is ready, Sunday is the maiden voyage with passengers from Germany. First of three ships "Hanseatic Nature" is the first in a series of three such boats Vard Langsten will deliver to the shipping company Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. The boat is 14 500 tonnes, 137 meters long and 22 meters wide. This is building number 870 from Vard Langsten. The ship is built to operate in polar regions. The hull of the sister ship "Hanseatic Inspiration" is long in place and under equipment in Tomrefjord. It will be delivered in October / November this year. There have been some very hectic weeks at Langsten in April, where there have mostly been 1800 workers from several countries. It is Italian Fincantieri who owns Vard. This case was first published by Rbnett

I think I read somewhere, that 2019 is the year with the highest number of cruise ships to be delivered(?) ever in history.

The new Hanseatic Nature ship looks great - love the play with the red and dar/black lines, in addition to the blue bow. Makes her stand out a little more.

There is a point where you have to start doing something. That is very correct in my opinion.

That's the very first time I've heard the term "Instagrammable cruise experiences".

Social media has certainly taken us into a whole new branch of the future, where almost everybody is looking for that one perfect Instagram shot.

There is an Instagram-photographer in all of us.
