Don't know if these two fit the description as Cruse ships, but they are presumably on their way to Svalbard for the season:

Presently entering Folla on the way towards Tromso.

Definitely cruise ships in my kind of definition. The cruise destination is in the foreground. Not the luxury resort you‘re aboard. Isn‘t this cruise to that destination much more authentic than in a 5star floating hotel?

Magellan was in Trondheim some days ago, the weather was absolutely perfect for a flight:

Saga Pearl II was in Aalesund yesterday. (Arriving from Harstad and leaving to Flom)
        As seen from Clourline Stadium:

        Closer. As seen from Blixvalen:

With company of Boa Odin at the fishery pier, Storneset:

ISPS restrictions in force. Closest I could get:

Lots of people out on deck for departure despite cold wind but bright sunshine all day:

"Give her a push to Port Mr. Mate":

        Make a turn on Aspoyvaagen:

        "Ships meeting in the day":

Two of the four Swedish explorer ships left Tromsø on tuesday last week.
"Origo" north Tromsø strait, while the other ship "Freya" was already passed when I took the picture.

Expects that the two other ships "Malmö" and "Stockholm" currently located in Gothenburg will sail north in a short time.

"AIDAcara" in Tromsø strait last night. She came directly from Alta with destination Sortland, but due to bad weather, they canceled Sortland.
She lay at anchor to 02:45 at night before they headed south to Trondheim.

Such a beautiful, classical vessel! Well done on both new photographs, Azimut!

With all the guests Meraviglia will bring, that will be interesting to hear.

Perhaps Norway is not prepared to welcome ships of such a gigantic size?

"Astor" inbound to Tromsø this afternoon.
When I took this picture,it was only +3.5 celsius outside. Brrr

I wonder if these passengers wonder if it's a summer cruise or winter cruise they're on when it's so cold at the beginning of june.

What can you do with the weather, nothing.Just take it with three big smiles

Great photos as ever Bengt - I suspect that the residents of Southern Norway would willingly 'split the difference' with you with the temperatures!!

Meraviglia back to H'våg this afternoon for her second trip. The new cruise berth, Kai Nord, still not fixed, so she'll have to sit at anchor again.
                          Cheers,

                          Mark.

You know, we up in north-Norway we are kind of used to this type of weather even if you think we are in june and expect the weather to be a little warmer.
But it's only early in june and I am sure the weather will turn out for the better in a week or so.
It can't be worse or can it???
                            Best wishes from
