So many totally awesome updates here... ships that I couldn't catch at Trondheim and ships that doesn't seem to like visiting my port.

I have been trying to keep up with the ships prior to my own work, but extra days at work and other things such as weather sometimes put barriers in my way.

Here is however some of my ships the past week or so... if you haven't seen them on my bLOG in smaller formats.

Please let me know if they do not show up because of the greed of Photobucket-board of directors.

            AIDAsol first:

Looks like the photos show up at my end - hopefully they do at your end too.

Next in line is the Norwegian Jade:

Looks like Preziosa had a bit of a 'coming together' with Kai Nord in Honningsvåg earlier in the week.

Today's visitor was Sea Princess which was at anchor on the sea-side of the mole.
                    Cheers,

                    Mark.

Back to 26 June last month, and Silver Cloud was on the Honningsvåg cruise quay when it was still in one piece.

Parked in the 'bo-bil' bit of the car park - couldn't see the ticket.

                      Nordlys coming around Altsula.

And the rather diminished - and distracted - jazz band welcoming punters back after their day ashore.

                      Cheers,

                      Mark.

The smallest 'Cruise ship" to visit Aalesund so far is probably this one:

Yesterday 15. July, 2017, we were visited by two ships, but both left already at 1300 hrs. so I only got a glimpse of the them from afar.
                            Berlin rounding Slinningsodden first:

Shortly followed by Mein Schiff 1. Seen here through a forest of masts at Aalesund Sailing Club in Volsdalen Marina:

Today is a day without any Cruise ships in town, but tomorrow, 17. July, 2017 there will be three.

Thank you all for the new updates.

I especially enjoyed seeing the Sea Princess, a ship that when she was new, I thought of as an "ugly ship". Now, I actually think she is kind of nice.... things change with age I presume.

I haven't been able to photograph any ships the past few days both due to weather conditions (WHERE IS THE SUMMER!) and because of a very hectic schedule.

There isn't many more cruiseships left now to come to Trondheim, the season is almost over and I haven't felt we have had summer yet.
With best regards from Jan-Olav Storli
