You have done your homework. Yes it is the Costa Pacifica at Flatholmen Container Terminal as seen from Verpingsvika. I did not bother to walk any further to seen this vessels, since se is a regular in Aalesund and will be back already 06.07.2017. Then together with Arcadia and Monarch at the normal place at Stornespiren.

I made a roundtrip of 588 kilometers Saturday, mainly to see five cruiseships in Ålesund, driving via Åndalsnes, Dombås and Oppdal back home

Star Legend in Ålesund 1. July 2017. Hmmm..., is it Willem Dafoe I see sneaking around followed by Sandra Bullock down there?? ;-)
SSL21709 by Svein Ludvigsen, on Flickr

Number two of the five was Norwegian Jade
SSL21730 by Svein Ludvigsen, on Flickr

Number three, Costa Pacifica, had to use Flatholmen north of the city
SSL21742 by Svein Ludvigsen, on Flickr

Ålesund seen from the Knife (Kniven) around 7:30 AM
SSL21746 by Svein Ludvigsen, on Flickr

As seen from Fjellstua, Norwegian Jade 294 meters outsize Star Legend and her 135 meters
SSL21752 by Svein Ludvigsen, on Flickr

Then we had the number four, and almost the reason I drove to Ålesund this day. I have never seen a Disney Cruise Line ship in Norway, now this too is 'Checked'
Disney Magic sailing in to the port of Ålesund

Disney and Norwegian meet up. No hornblowing contest at this hour
SSL21776 by Svein Ludvigsen, on Flickr

Size doesn't matter, and they might be true. As seen from what I learned today is called Blixvarden quay

Wow, this Flickr-thing seems to work perfect, so here we go...

From Hellebrua, a magnet to tourists
SSL21783 by Svein Ludvigsen, on Flickr

Goofy (or Langbein, as we call him in Norway) paint the stern decoration
SSL21786 by Svein Ludvigsen, on Flickr

A silouette of Mickey HAS to be the funnel logo of a Disney ship, what else?
SSL21789 by Svein Ludvigsen, on Flickr

          Details from the starboard side
SSL21793 by Svein Ludvigsen, on Flickr

          11-12 floors up

Mickey is a must in anything conected with Disney, I guess
SSL21803 by Svein Ludvigsen, on Flickr

Every detail is yellow, even the able seamen wore yellow coveralls

I'm almost out of ideas as to what angle to photograph a cruiseship, but I feel this one is ok
SSL21806 by Svein Ludvigsen, on Flickr

            Details from Disney Magic
SSL21807 by Svein Ludvigsen, on Flickr

            Seen from the bus terminal
SSL21823 by Svein Ludvigsen, on Flickr

The fifth ship this day was Serenissima (ex. Harald Jarl). This is the only picture of her due to security. Had to ask the guard to enter closed area, and according to him, I could only stand beneath the bow. (Told him I had taken pictures for the Port Authorities in Kristiansund and I had ISPS clearance on every docking area in Nordmøre, but no...., didn't impress him)

THANK YOU all very much for all these wonderful updates.

Sterkoder, you are so lucky to having had the chance to see Disney Magic in Norway - I'm still waiting for them to find Trondheim on their maps!

When it comes to the design of Seabourn Quest, in the side view, I think that the midship-part of the ship is too low, almost as if the ship is cut down in the middle. Personally, but I'm no expert, I think she would have been better looking with a higher midships in level with the aft and front part.

The head on pakarang view is cool!

Glad to see the foemr Stockholm, now Astoria, still in operation as a cruise ship. God knows how many more chances we have at seeing her visit our waters.
