      Don't know if it has something to do with the scaling down or anything, but on the CVF the images seem a bit grainy, as do the images of "Maersk Logger" in the offshore vessel-thread.
      The originals though, are crystal clear.... (As I remember I belive I sat the ISO to 1600, so it can also have something to do with that).
      Holy...., how I like my new camera, and how I look forward to longer days and photo sessions after work!!!

        ISO 1600 is indeed a very high ISO setting. I normally try to avoid venturing above 400, but if there is no light, there is no light.

        I haven't noticed the graininess increasing after posting them on the forum so far, but I've heard about this "problem" from some people. It goes a little beyond my knowledge at the moment, but as far as I understand it, there shouldn't be any loss of quality when posting on a forum from a host.

          All I know is that there's a lot of difference between the different pc screens, as on my laptop at home, I get a certain quality, whereas on my job-pc, the quality and colours are a notch better, sharper, if you will...

                      College Fjord is a protected area and the National park service were on board to see the ship through the Fjords and explain how they work.
