I totally agree with you there, Sterkoder

TNAalesund: Thank you for the old tug and the fishing vessel with the high proud bow. It has been a long time since I had my tug fix.

Early this morning "Hanseatic Sailor" visited Kristiansund

And as I drow home from work, I just had to stop and take this snapshot, "Skandi Foula" nearest, then "Island Challenger" and on her way out at sea, "Viking Queen" in the sunset...

I am really scratching the bottom of the barrel getting pictures I have not posted on the old forum. Here are two cruise ships leaving San Diego harbor. We flew in the night before our cruise and I had to race up to the room and catch these shots before the ships got any further away. I did not even have a chance to dig out my zoom lens.

We caught up with the Holland America ship in Cabo several days later. I'm not sure where they stopped in between: Ensenada?

Finally...., FINALLY......, the photolight were back after a long dark winter.
I'm not religious, but I want to use a text to eulogize the light. Some may remember this text from a famous black book, but for me it's a strong text read by an astronaut of the Apollo-programme on Mike Oldfields CD from 1994 'Songs of Distant Earth' (Video at YouTube).

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said: Let there be light, and there was light.
And God saw the light, and that it was good, and God divided the light from the darkness.

I've used a few minutes here now to figure out if I should put my following 17 images in this thread or the thread 'This is Kristiansund'.

Ended up with this one, and here are the result of a drive around in Kristiansund today.

Nice pictures, Sterkoder. Really fantastic weather here this weekend. I would have shot some pictures myself if I had the time. But I am redecorating my bathroom and have too little time to do other things...

                              Thank you, Torbjørn!!
When it comes to redecorating your bathroom, I think I know what you're going through.
I have a bathroom from about 1980, and long overdue for a redecoration....

As for all my pictures here, my highest wish before this years photoseason is to be able to upload more than 4 images in each post....
