    Awesome new additions!

That LNG tanker is massive! Happy you eventually got to photograph a proper SAILING gas tanker!

Brilliant shots of UBC Cork too... a very frequent visitor to Trondheim.

A former class-mate of mine is a captain on board Polarsyssel... great seeing them finally out of lay-up and on the way northwards! Smooth sailing for the season!

Tanker "Norsel" (NO) a few minutes before departure earlier this afternoon.
She headed up to the Barents Sea to supply the fishing fleet with bunkers and probably a trip to Longyearbyen too.

Nice new additions within the variety of ships of all types. Thank you so much for sharing these.

Tern Ocean has also been to Trondheim, and I like her quite a bit. She looks well maintained.

PS: The yellow sky created by the low sun in second image looks awesome.

Nordkinn beautifully captured in the big north, at speed at night! Well done.

This is a remarkable amount of cranes on such a relative short vessel.

Great images as usual. I'm truly impressed by your ability to capture so beautiful shots as these. The quality is outstanding.

On the other hand, I found the grey portion of the bow on Lifjell a bit interesting.

"Lance" north Tromsø strait this morning in rain showers.
She came from Reykjarvik a few days ago and looks freshly painted.
They have probably been to the yard in Reykjarvik.

Yes, indeed, she looks freshly painted and ready for her season. Wasn't this ship some kind of research or patrol vessel for Sysselmannen at Svalbard, in the past?

In the period 1995 - 2000, "Lance" served as a coast guard vessel in the Barents sea outside the summer season (hence the military gray color of the vessel on some pictures).

OK, I knew I had seen her in the past. Thank you so much.

Great catch. We have discussed it before, but I'll say it again, there is certainly a LOT of Wilson ships sailing in Norwegian waters!
