If I am not mistaken, wasn't this vessel built as "Remøytrål" back in 1986?

That's correct, Built as Remoy, renamed Remoytraal, then Remoy and Remoytraal one more time, before being converted as Seismic Support Vessel: http://maritime-connector.com/ship/B...8505472/print/

Interesting with a x-bow that actually is a conventional bow...?

Since the X-Bow is patented, or at least copy righted, there are all kinds of attempt to "copy" it, without actually copying it.

                      Great shot of POLARSYSSEL!

As far as I know, she is headed south to be laid up for the winter. I "know" the captain on board, we used to be in school together a LONG time ago.

I also know one of the captains onboard "Polarsyssel"
He is a close neighbor in the same apartment block where I live.
