    In the Casino I see:

    Roulette

A lady is having a bad day at the roulette tables in Las Vegas. She's down to her last $50. Exasperated, she exclaims, "What rotten luck! What in the world should I do now?"

A man standing next to her, trying to calm her down, suggests, "I don't know. Why don't you play your age?" Then he walked away.

Moments later, his attention is grabbed by a great commotion at the roulette table. Maybe, she won! He rushes back to the table and pushes his way through the crowd. The lady is lying limp on the floor, with the table operator kneeling over her.

The man is stunned. He asks, "What happened? Is she alright?"

The roulette wheel operator replied, "I don't know. She put all her money on 29. When 36 came up, she just fainted!"

Too funny!! and I LOVE the tracking chips--probably not far off.

Although Jane (aka Mama) is NOT amused by all the rigamaroll we have to go through tomorrow night. She just sent me down to reception to find out exactly what time she is to "appear" before "those people" tomorrow night.......see, it ain't all a party (LOL)

We have just dropped off our pilot who was to sprint over to Symphony to guide her in to port. But the fog is "pea soup" tonight...so much so that the Master didn't leave to attend our "Crystal Society" (aka frequent flyer program) party until the very last second....and left as soon as possible. I guess this isn't the kind of night that you leave watch to go table host, is it, J-O????

The good news is, he says that Serenity and Symphony should pass each other during the day when we leave Osaka.... I so want to see both my girls at once...

BTW, J-o--I told Josef L. that you send your best regards...you two must have looked a sight together in your whites, as he is soooo tall, and--well, you're um..."vertically challenged" like I am........and Ruel was beaming that you remembered him...he's a dear!!!!

Anyone up for wild mushroom soup at Prego??? (Jan, be a dear and explain....)

Sounds almost as good as a Hurtigruten ship crossing!

Oh, and I meant to say earlier, thanks E for giving me a flash of inspiration for the "Add your own subtitle to the image" thread in "Off the vessel - OVERTIME"

CY has arrived in Nagasaki with E safely on board, according to a recent report on the mobile phone. The report further states she has tons of ships that needs to be identified once she returns (for Sterkoder), and she apologizes for not being able to come online due to those Japanese regulations concerning Internet access on non-Japanese vessels.

          At least, she is fine...

I wonder if this webcam image is updated?

Sign of life from E... she is fine (well, it would be hard to not be fine on a Crystal ship.. ). She is still outside connection, so is the CY webcamera as well. Maybe she told them to switch it off so we couldn't make a proper stalk...

Anyhow, she is right now watching the CS meeting the CY. I looked up CS camera, and the date seems correct, but she is in a terrible fog at anchor off Shanghai?

In the meanwhile E is spreading the word of CV to other prospective members and taking pictures which she promises to share with us when she return.

                HI EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in the Admiral's club at the Tokyo airport and I just couldn't wait another minute to say "Hi!!"

Thanks, darling Jan, for forwarding my sms....didn't get to see Symphony. The fog was so bad for Symphony in Shanghai, they got delayed, and ended up having to go to Nagasaki instead of Osaka... Big Problem, as the headline entertainers on Serenity, Michel Bell and his wife, were going to change ships in Osaka, and ended up having to fly to Nagasaki to catch Symphony. So we only got to pass Asuka II (Harmony) in the distance as we came INTO Osaka.

I have 10 gigs of photos to weed through for all y'all--including tugboats for Dane, Seagulls for seagull, cool shots for Doris, cars and cranes for Ralf, all sorts of boats for Sterkoder, cute kid photo ideas for "Sven the younger" landscapes for Torbjorn, gosh...what and who else....and of course, an attempt to look through the Captain's eyes and capture everything....even in the most unusual places.

I've seen so many things...learned so many things... most of all, though,I've realized the impact each and every one of you has on MY life!!!! I HAVE MISSED YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be prepared for when I get back to "Middle-Of-Nowhere"---there is LOTS TO tell......

Nothing like waking up at 5am...still feeling the rocking motion of the sea

I have already been harassed by my brother for not updating my blog (at least it wasn't YOU, Jan-Olav, leaving gentle reminders for me on my voice mail, LOL) so I am getting to work on it as soon as I finish typing this sentence...

unless anyone leaves any new posts on CV, that is!!!

It will take you another 18 days to sort that little lot!

Ok, CV Sibs--y'all have been privileged (????HAHA) to get some of these photos already, but here is my first post on my blog if you want additional commentary..
but I'll put the pics here as well.........

Man, I just realized what a job I have ahead of me!!!

The trip down the Li River is when I realized how much I missed all y'all--I wonder what photos YOU each might have found that I didn't...

and I KNOW you would have laughed at the antics of the female panda YueYue

while the male panda YangYang slept the entire time..(as an aside, one can't call YangYang her "partner" as she doesn't much like him--they have to be kept separate as she keeps biting and beating him up...so much for pandas being cute and cuddily)

and, when I ran up the stairs from breakfast on the Lido deck the other day, I rounded the corner and, HELLO!! There was Mt. Fuji

                                WOW--I mean, really WOW!

Lots more, but as I've already spent 4 hours and haven't even managed to DOWNLOAD everything..................more later!!
