    [Crystal Symphony] In port.

As the opposite of the thread, [Crystal Symphony] At sea, here is the other half of the ship's life: in Port. Hope you will enjoy these glimpses from a life on board the World's Best Cruiseship.

Taken from the monkey island showing the ship's largest pool: the Seahorse Pool Area.

Can anyone guess under which skies the ship has docked in this image?

This is from an overnight in Stockholm. Each summer we used to spend from one to three days in port in Stockholm, and that often included amazing overnights under the Swedish sky.

At overnight stays, being the World's Best... it was extremely important that EVERY single bulb in the decoration light-string worked.

This image is from July 29th 2005:

Another evidence that Crystal Symphony is and remains the World's Best Cruiseline: once in a while we arrive at ports we have never been to before and the local arrangements are not as we had hoped for (of several reasons).

Worry not, help is always at hand to help guests disembark in the safest possible way: here with the help of many hands of the deck department.

The port is Le Verdon in France, it was an Inaugural Call and the date was June 3rd 2005:

Talking about gangway and security lines which many people dread and do not like: take a look at these two samples taken just before both ships were making ready to sail. I won't go into further details but the length of the queues are significant:

I would like to share this image with you all: I'd like to call it "why some people choose to cruise with Crystal"...

But of course. But where's the tent, the benches and the fresh flowers at the end of the gangplank? Must be about to leave, or just arriving!!!!

Your ship had a lovely sunrise this morning in the Carribbean... but it wouldn't have made a pretty picture because of the angle of the camera...hooks and cables and junk in the way....

Thank you so much for the great images of my ship, the CS.... thank you.

BTW, you probably noticed the freshwater spray on her side... meaning that her fresh water tanks have been completely filled to capacity and is now overflowing...

I really don't know if I should share all 413.000+ images with all of you.... that would be extremely boring for all of you, and perhaps a giant waste of time editing and posting all those images..

Annnnyyyyhooooooow (as Lady E would say)... here is an image from 1999 when we dropped anchor of Bali in Indonesia:
