It isn't the prom, because of the stairs...so is it 8,9, or 10?? You know I don't "make it" to 10!!!!!

OOH, "MY" deck, but they keep this area just below the bridge locked. The only time you get to go out there now is when the stewardesses open the doors for some fresh air!

Why would they do that? You mean also the outside access stairs?

I know from the guest corridors on both sides, the doors are only for emergency purposes.

OOh, I'll have to check. Never thought to run up the stairs from prom... something tells me there are signs across the stairs saying "emergency use only" or something. Let me go look at my photos....

Really glad that CS is close to Sydney and not in the path of the two big Tropical Cyclones heading toward Australia...

                  ...
Ditto on that. A tropical cyclone is not anything you want to be caught out in.

I have done one, and I don't want to do it again... It was on the Royal Viking Sun back in 1992 on a voyage from Australia to ... uhhhmmm... Reunion, that we were caught in Cyclone Celeste... It was a horrendous and very scary trip, and I remember seeing the stabilizer coming out of the water (and it's normally located 5,5 meters below the water line)... The whole forecastle was trashed.

Crystal Symphony spotted in the Panama Canal on an old GE-image:

Heres a cross-reference to a series of photos of Crystal Symphony in the Firth of Forth, seen from South Queensferry as she passed beneath the Forth bridges on the 5th of July 2016.

CRYSTAL SYMPHONY will visit Kristiansund 22. July 2017. Just saying ;-)
(My favourite will be Queen Victoria 29. May 2018. Imagine that huge ship sailing through the Markussundet inlet. Wow :-) )

July 22nd sounds like a day when I will be on duty - DARN!

I may need to do some internal swaps to get a day off that day - would be awesome seeing her again. It's been so many years, and she is not coming to Trondheim anymore.
