Munch....munch...... he/she has munched itself into a tight corner, if it doesn't watch where it's going there will be a catastrophe! And I like the first photo of #348.
Your dahlias are strong-looking plants, I like the orange red ones best. I think I'll get some tubers this autumn and put them in the front garden over at the side. They make a good show.
            More spiders???

this garden helper has a hard life,no shade at the backgarden, and we're never at the front,or it is for gardning, then he is with us, enjoying the cool tiles.

By Friday I shall expect to see a lean. athletic-looking chap rushing about full of energy!
That dahlia in #351 is a gorgeous colour in the first photo, a strong lavender shade, but I see in the next photo that the sunlight shows its true colour, much pinker. I really like the first best. No, you shouldn't have all the dahlias the same size, it needs variety for they all have their own charm. And that one at #353 sits well with the small plants next to it, if it were any larger it would dwarf them.
I'm jealous of that canna, it is such a beautiful rich colour, isn't it? Years ago I had a flame- coloured one in a pot. I put it in the shed for the winter and it survived to bloom for two or three more years. They are not easy to grow with our climate in East Anglia and when my neighbour and his wife were down on the south coast somewhere they saw masses of cannas of the same colour on the sea front. The south coast is so much milder, with a soft air. He got quite excited and pointed them out to his wife as being like Ivy's!
How long have you had that technicolour frog???
Dear old Indi. Give him a tickle behind the ear for me.

the frog, we have that for about 3 weeks.
it's came from the old swimmingpool where Henny worked, the name of the pool was ''kikvors''.
translationsite don't come up with a name, but it's simular to ''kikker'' ,which is frog.

                        tickled him,he liked it.

                          Pretty garden or six pack?

I think that you and I both stand more chance of the first of those than the second!

Indi looks exhausted. You overwork that poor dog.
                          Cheers,
