    did some gardning this week.
the earth round the elephant was sinking,so i could get a few wheelbarrows earth from someone to higher it up.
al the rocks are green from the alg,so clean those up with the high pressure cleaner.
stack up the rocks, throwing the rest of the soil into the garden and it's lookeing better again.
but just a few tulips are out.
and i hot 3 parts of a yucca plant of him,but just use 1,lets see what it will do.
the plants wants a dry and high ground ,well drained and sun, where its stands now it have nothing thats its wants.

i don't know how deep it is,but the freighter with a crane on her to dig it out,was already sailing in it,so 2.5 to 3 meter i think.
they started the digging in autum last year,so before it's totally finished a coupple of weeks, maybe 2 months ,i don't know.
and ist there a bank protection in it,etcetcetc.

you had seen the other side where we came from.so when i want to take one of this side (east side of the bridge) there is always a nitwit that can't wait.
anyhow a view from the bank where we have walked.

Yes, I see the pillars between the first and second breakwaters.
Thijs, do you know how deep they are dredging the trench? It's a massive undertaking, isn't it? How long will it have taken altogether by the time they finish - at a guess!

they have to dredge the sandy ridge and underneath the bridge and then there is a trenc, ready for making way to the water.
the earth on the right near the water stays.

the river thats to cross in case of war.
    find the pilars.

The beaver is an animal you wouldn't want to have biting on your (wooden) leg!

What are the flowers at #200? I would have thought species tulips because they are out before the normal one. My best ones that I have photographed before have made a very poor showing this year and are over. But you said your tulips are not out yet, so it can't be that. Whatever they are, you have a lovely sharp centre on each, Thijs.
In the following post I like the yellow flower best as there is more sharp detail in the centre.
The beaver is doing quite a bit of tree felling, isn't it? Incredible that they can get through such a thick trunk. That's the big disadvantage with these creatures - the damage they do to the trees. For that reason I am in two minds about their re-introduction here.
I like the net picture, quite an abstract image. And the smiley!!!
