Does anyone have any more details on this absolutely AWESOME apartment (for rent?) in Amsterdam - near the airport?

I know it's been offered as a price at a competition but is it for rent for "normal people" and for what price... I have googled and searched the net, but not much can be found.

was just an gimmick for the cooperation between KLM and airbn
it issn't for rent anymore, and was given to 3 winners from al over the world.
the cooperation between them is that you can book a flight, and the cars and hotels of airbnb now al on the website of KLM

Ahaha..... thank you so very much for that explanation. I was wondering why it did not show up in google-searches anymore.

The aircraft looks awesome though.... do you know what they did with the aircraft afterwards?

Was it sold or is it still being used as an apartment for someone?

The decoration of the gigantic cabin would have been extremely expensive to do I think.

they said the md-11 planes had done there last flights for KLM and the last planes were waiting till they go to the USA for scrapping.
if this is including the hotel plane ,not a word about that.
i couldend find anything about this plane further than that it was only for 3 nights for those winners ,and that it wasn't for rent.

OK, thank you so much for that clarification, janihudi!

I think it would have made an AWESOME HOME for me had it been sold to Norway.... hahahahaha... if the price had been right, I would most definitely have made a bid for it!

Really unbelievable, and so sad I think... such a waste, because the aircraft interior were really done nicely, and knowing how hard such a rebuild actually is (from the owner of JumboStay in Stockholm), it's just insane.
