    Photo Assignement: Photographing miniatures

Here are some attempts to photograph miniatures, from my own souvenir shelves. As you can see, they are not Macro images.

Any comments would be appreciated as photographing something so simple wasn't as easy as I initially thought.

So that's his name... it sits on the top cover of a plastic cup from the cinema in Bangkok.

Sweet movie...Remy, the rat, secretly has read famous cookbooks and is a good chef. But who wants a rat for a chef? He helps a bumbling apprentice, Linguini, go from garbage boy to chef. Typical Disney plot.

Now that I have a camera with supermacro abilities, I tried to picture two pencil sharpeners I bought 10-12 years ago
McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle closest and Grumman F-6F Hellcat in the background

                Jepp..., pencil sharpener

And finally a 2 cm long wooden plane I got from my mother once (just for fun)

I think Sterkoder has found a new love - in his new camera!

Something which I'm really thrilled about.... (thumbs up).

A miniature baby we got as a small gift about 10 years ago..., so peaceful

And inspired by J-Os macro images of Nidarosdomen, I took some snapshots in supermacro of the St. Peters Cathedral in Rome.

                          Yes, it's ceramic.
We got it when our daughter was born, so this is a nice figure to have around and we think back on good memories from our daughters first 10 1/2 years when we see it
