            • Here is an abandoned Victorian water tower, its not been used for some years now.
              Built and opened in 1897.

                • That has been proposed Ralf. Something to do with planning laws, being a listed building and the price puts people right off the idea.

                            Looking at the picture, I guess south-southwest is behind that abandoned house, and looking how unprotected it is from the strong winter winds straight in from the North-Atlantic, it's amazing it still stands.

                            It's a great picture, very spooky, and I'm thinking of Alfred Hitchc*cks movie from 1963, 'The Birds'.

                              That is absolutely correct... kind of strange it still stands upright, with the whole open ocean behind it... winter storms can be quite hard so far out in the ocean, so I'm quite surprised!
