Pine Martens filmed last week on the west coast.

      1) Marten without a tail at night
      2) Marten early in the morning, with a tail

And here for the partial fashion parade - this year is a monochrome year for birdie fashion, and we see here Jack Daw from Kent modelling this year's smart black suit look.

For a smarter occasion, what about the all-white look, as shown by C Gull (Cecilia Gull perhaps) - whilst maintaining a steady 24 knots above the (Aker-built) catwalk.

(I think I'm losing the plot - NURSE!!!).
          Cheers,

Or if you're a Dutch birdie begging for food at a Viewpoint on the dyke that has the North Sea on one side and Ijsselmeer on the other side, and you can't decide whether to go for white or black, you could always go for both:

              Cheers,

Thing is Thijs, my car - and its driver - are built for comfort rather than speed!!!

A few from my Bempton Cliffs day out, standing and photographing from 350ft (106m) up made me a bit nervy to say the least.

                          Arguing Gannets.

                          Gannet in flight.

                          Gannet coming in to land.

                          Puffin take off.

                          Gannet landing.

Gannet 50ft (15m) below me, strange feeling looking down on these birds instead of up.

No zoom on needed on this one, it was only an arms length away.
The eye to eye contact was unnerving though!

Paul, it seems that every post of yours I look at today, I want to start a comment with “Phew” or some such exclamation!…What can I say…we use the expression “big cats” but rarely is the essence of those two words conveyed in an image as you have here..
