you have a wonderfull garden doris,i wish that i had a big garden.
specialy in this weatherconditions,GOD i love winter.

the woman who was complaning had nothing to do with the company, that has rented a shed in that street.
hell woman was from the other side of the street office, even the man from the customer to unload didn't understand why ''she go out of her roof'' (as we say in holland,i believe you say why she get besurk??).

but that is the down side of winter wonderland
but even in 85 when i started driving germany didn't throw salt for environtmental reasons.
i susposed that the envirorment i more important in germany that the lives of the people, who needs to be on the road or footpaths.

asshole's can be found in every nation of the world, but then again there are nice people like me to be found al over the world.

i had my asshole (not me) moment yesterday in belgium, somebody made a mistake, but it is the driver who gets the blame.

was at the office today, and the company buyed some bags of salt,so i ask them if she had call them from germany.
she didn't,but they laught about it to.
      best regards Thijs

No, I don't think it has ever snowed in Hong Kong, which is within the Tropic of Cancer, (22 degr. 15' N 114 degr. 10' E) but it can get quite cold at night.
This is due to it's position on the edge of continental Asia, with cold NE wind blowing all the way from Siberia during the northern winter months.

Yesterday the daytime temperature was only +9C and windy with some rain, which feels VERY cold according to report I got from my wife and son, who are still there.

The lack of heating indoors is also an issue, therefore Honkies wear their heavy winter cloths even when they are sitting in restaurants eating.
Why don't they heat the restaurants then you may ask?? Well, then the patrons will complain, because they like to wear their expensive jackets indoors to show off. I could have taken some pictures of people all dressed up while eating Hot Pot, but it is not "nice" to do so.

In Shekou we had X-mas dinner outdoors, but with a tall gas burner next to the table for some comfort.
