Photo Assignment: Post photos of urban fragments (NO people or skies)

I'd love to see what kind of "urban fragments and details" you all photograph with your cameras, this time, no people or skies.

I was thinking about heading to town today taking some early summer pictures, but all the trash in town right now made me reconsider, in addition to me not feeling all that great today. Instead, I spend the afternoon home at my balcony waiting to go to work for my nightshift on the ferry.

It'll be another long night tonight, but tomorrow morning at noon, I'll be off for a short 4-5 days! If the weather holds, I plan on taking Rolf out on a little run for the money.

Urban landscapes and details are on the list!

Another interesting assignment, Captain! Not sure whether these photos I took in Rome qualify as “urban fragments”, (or whether I should have tried to recollect the size of the buildings so as to know which of the “Looking Closer” threads they might have qualified for).

Ummm, I see you also mention the phrase “urban landscapes”. An urban landscape without any people in Rome would have been a considerable challenge!!!

I feel I should also present you with a Rome rubbish bin (loved the column-like styling!), in a sympathetic virtual attempt to help you with Trondheim’s current trash situation.

I guess this could be the correct category for these images?

Clever choice of thread Captain!! Now those are what I call really tasteful Christmas decorations. Something really clean and fresh and appealing about these photos.
