Sun certainly has "turned" as we say here.... the nights are getting darker and darker each day - we all know what is coming.

Imagine if we had nights like these past weeks, for the entire year.... I'm going to miss those evenings on the balcony in relatively warm summer air.

Oh, how rare - a full half-circle bow. Lovely.

and that through a Mercedes window full with corps.

it,s seems to be that picture push and the images which come from the camera won't rotate,
but when i place them on Facebook, copy them from facebook back to the images folder and load them up via picture push they rotate.
          not the easyest way

We see some glorious images on this thread and those above bear this out. Of Ombugge's three photos of the fisherman I enjoy the middle one the most. The expanse of land, water and sky stretching away emphasises the solitude of the fisherman and yet the beauty of the scene somehow conveys a quiet contentment.
Then Thijs's first two show great contrast, the brilliantly lit strip of sky creating lovely silhouettes above and below.. The second one is my favourite. And i do like the last photo, the stark turbines dominating the scene.

                        Hi Tom,
I've almost forgotten how nice the summer evenings in Norway actually can be!

That first and last photo are my two absolute favourites... especially the first one, I feel an immediate hunger for those warm summer nights.

I'm not sure about the cropping/not cropping in that one at #990, Thijs. But I tell you what - with that impenetrable darkness "in front" of you, dwarfing the view beyond, you find yourself examining the coastline silhouette very closely. I delighted in trying to identify the shapes - trees, bushes, a church I think, a Wot's That? and yes, a windmill, just so that we know which country we are in. But where exactly?

                          roughly
taken near the village Almkerk in to direction of Uppel
                          windmill in 5 pointed star
and not a church in 985-1 ,but a watertower (not in use anymore)(6 pointed star)
